Rajy is right on…to an extent. Yes Dillard does use played out marketing ploys…however they still work on many. Everything Rajy says above does happen. And Dillard has a buffer system in place whereby you will never get to him directly and there is clever software in place that generates leads automatically and also prevents negative info from being propagated about him or his various businesses. He has a little automated empire going for himself which works well for HIM. Your results in all likelihood will not mirror his. Buyer beware.

First it asks you commit to watching a 1 hour presentation “to be presented by mike Dillard” an hour later. That’s right it makes you wait, which is a clever marketing technique to make you feel more committed to watching the video. Dillard also says that only 250 people will get to tune into the presentation which is again all a marketing tool to make you feel obligated to follow through with the presentation.
The presentation is not live and is a prerecorded video so why make us wait before watching it? Why make it feel exclusive if not for the sake of marketing?
At the end of the video (yes i watched it all) it says that if you subscribe now you get a huge discount. This is, again, a common marketing tool. It is meant to instill a sense of urgency in the viewer and make him/her make a quick decision.
If the product is worth as much as Dillard leads on then why all the marketing? Why mislead his audience with the nature of the presentation?
Answer: Its a scam.
I agree with your marketing analysis and thought the same as well. My question is just because he uses lame, tricky marketing that persoanlly I find insulting and generally makes me run from such people – does that necessarily mean what he is selling has no value. I mean he is selling so can I make the assumption that his product has no value because he is using marketing that works even though it is distasteful to me. What do you think?
